What should I do before I bring my iPhone for service?

Before bringing your iPhone, iPad or iPod for service your device must be be Backed Up and Find My iPhone has to be de-activated.


Macworx Joondalup is Premium Apple Service Provider, which means we can look after all your Apple warranty needs, upgrades and repairs.

All our service staff are examined by Apple regularly to ensure competent, timely and professional repairs.


If your Mac is covered by either the standard one year warranty or the Apple Protection Plan, Apple will take care of the repair for you. If your products are out of warranty, then bring them down and we will be happy to quote you for the repair. If you are unsure you can check your serial number here. There is a $65 booking-in fee on all non-warranty repairs which includes diagnostics and a quote so you will know how much the repair costs before we start. The booking-in fee is waived when proceeding with a repair.


As well as Apple Computers, MacWorx provide support and Apple warranty repairs/replacements for iPhone, iPod, iPad, AirPort, AppleTV, Time Capsule and other Apple products.


Do I need my receipt? If Apple’s service and support coverage checker states your device is in warranty a receipt is not required. A receipt is only required to prove your device is still within warranty.


I don't live near an Authorised Apple Repairer? You are welcome to mail your product to us, and we will repair it and send it back! Just call us with your details and a description of the issue.


Do I need to book an appointment?

There is no need to book-in at MacWorx, just bring your device in and we will perform diagnostics while you wait. Replacement iPhone handsets are typically in-stock for for iPhone 4, 4s, 5, 5c & 5s.


Before you bring your Mac down to us:

Make sure your Mac is Backed up. If you are not sure how to Back up, one of our staff will assist you. Whilst we take every care, ALL data left at Macworx is at the owner’s risk.
Physical damage is not covered under Apple warranty. If a device has signs of damage, we will notify you of any cost before we go ahead with a repair. Our terms are available on request.
